Glimpse the Random

Stuff that doesn't really have a place. I like hard lines and sharp contrasts of color. A lot of these shots were showing off the lines of the school or work spaces I either work in or pass by.
So some cool stuff to look at.

Miss Mantis

You know those comedic moments when your passing by something and you take a few steps back so you can check out what caught your attention?

This is what happened with me. I caught her crawling over the edge of the table and with a little coxing got her back to take some shots. These are just a few of the ones I really enjoyed. The one of her back is my favorite.

Making a Splash

So definitely a theme in these if you haven't figured that out. This is of course Water. There are a few water fixtures around the campus and with some time to myself, I went exploring. I know there basic and kind of Eh, but I liked the way the brick fountains came out alot.

Lights all Around

So this is a collection of light shots all around campus. Since having my camera, I've just tried to have an open mind as I shoot. If I shoot one way, can I turn around and get the same shot from a different angle.

The orange shots are my favorite, I liked the way the SCIENCE just lit up in it. So I hope you enjoy and see something you like.

Sunny Stuffs

So one of the new lens's I got was a UV one. I was trying it out this morning on the way to school and some of the shots are okay. I have a few light orbs in the sun picture but I kind of like it that way. There are a few from my campus, I was testing light and dark areas. They were high up so one of them looks kind of dark, there was really nothing to bounce a flash off of. I should of used the flash bulb....Hmm I think I'll do that now.

Lens

So I got two lens's to go with my camera. I was playing with the options last night with some friends at game night, I was winning so It was cool I wasn't paying attention. I tried to figure out the roundness of the shots if that was constant or is there a way to like use it to my advantage. I'd rather not take photo's like the last all the time, because they look like Titan attack photo's. Ahhh creepy anime references. And the game we were playing was X-Men Under Seige...it's old, it's 80's it's exactly what you'd think it to be...But it's also fun.

Playing with the Flash Bulb

Now, I've never had one obviously. I was just trying to figure things out yesterday and boy was it an interesting process. I blinded her twice and then she was like "Nah, I'm good, I don't want my picture taken anymore," So I put it away and rethought my process. Defiantly gonna be fun trying to figure this out.
